We are currently looking for clients to present real-world success stories of Claritas applications, software and data at our annual Precision Marketing Conference. Presentations can cover a wide range of topics from processes to programs to project results and lessons learned.

Presentations are sought in the following categories. Sub-bullets are examples of potential topics. Please feel free to submit additional topics for consideration:

Online Targeting

  • Bridging the gap between online and offline customers
  • Delivering the right content and promotional offer to the right audience
  • Managing customer data and web analytics

Advertising & Media Planning

  • Building a great partnership between an advertising agency and the advertiser
  • Developing a multi-media campaign using segmentation
  • Optimizing your media mix
  • Increasing advertising revenue using target groups

Site Analysis & Strategy

  • Integrating client data with Claritas data to create full market picture
  • Reducing cycle time for site evaluations by using common toolsets
  • Optimizing your merchandizing strategy
  • Picking the right site for a profitable store opening

Consumer Targeting

  • Utilizing a segmentation system for improved performance
  • Driving better results on direct marketing campaigns
  • Using primary research for effective planning
  • Building a common marketing language through segmentation

Business Targeting

  • Refining lead generation programs
  • Optimizing sales territories and lead distribution
  • Building a custom B2B segmentation system
  • Using business intelligence for improved marketing programs

  • Surviving in a consolidating marketplace
  • Expanding in a slow economy
  • Managing increasing demands for targeted content and offers
  • Reaching the right audience with declining circulations
  • Growing your donation base during tight economic times

If you are selected to speak, you will receive a FREE PMC registration valued at $1095. Along with your complimentary registration, we will also provide hotel accommodations for the dates of the conference and coach roundtrip airfare to San Diego, CA. As a speaker you are eligible for one of our speaker award prizes. Speaker prizes are awarded in three categories:

  • Innovation – Introducing something new or different (a new process, method or program)
  • Integration – Combining different elements for improved performance (integrating data, vendors, technology or clients)
  • Insights – Providing an outcome based on measurable results (analysis, metrics or ROI)

Each award winner will receive $1000 in American Express Gift Cheques.

You will be notified of acceptance once we receive all submissions. It may be necessary to combine presentations to form panels or roundtables, depending on the number of submissions received and the topics submitted.

Deadlines, Requirements and General Information

  • Presentation submissions are due by November 19, 2008
  • Copies of your slideshow and any handouts (electronic or hardcopy) are due by March 20, 2009
  • Each session will be 1 hour, this allows for 45 to 50 minutes of presentation and 10 to 15 minutes for questions
  • If you are assigned to a panel, presentation time will vary depending on the number of participants on the panel
  • Entries and materials submitted become the property of Nielsen Claritas and will not be returned
  • Previous years' entries are not eligible
  • Nielsen Claritas reserves the right to change presentation titles and descriptions as needed
  • If presentation is selected, entrant agrees to present paper at the 2009 Nielsen Claritas Precision Marketing Conference
  • Conference registration is not transferable without prior approval from Nielsen Claritas
  • Speakers and panelists receive one free conference registration (one per company), hotel travel (coach class) and hotel accommodations (for the nights of 4/26, 4/27 and 4/28)
